The first aid committee of SARC’s Rural Damascus Branch organized a first aid course on 9- 12/12/2015. 30 volunteers in Al Kiswah Sub Branch had participated in this course, they had theoretical and practical training to increase their qualification and make them able to respond to emergency cases.
Syrian Arab Red Crescent Quneitra branch started on Sunday 13/12/2015 a new first aid training course. The course lasted for five days with 22 participants. The lectures dealt with topics on the right behaviors, nervous system, Shock, Respiratory system, artificial respiration technique, fractures, skin infections, circulatory system, CPR, carrying and transferring. SARC’s Quneitra management met the new volunteers and assured the necessity of commitment to the main principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
Aimed to qualify the largest number of SARC’s volunteers and increase their ability in first aid field, the Committee of first aid in SARC’s Rural Damascus branch organized a course in first aid in SARC AL Taal sub branch and Ein Mnein point, which started in 11/12/2015 until 13/12/2015. The number of volunteers who participated in this course 62 volunteers, 32 volunteers from SARC’s Ein Mnein point and 30 volunteers from SARC’s Al Taal Sub Branch.
Highlights: 62210 beneficiaries supported with relief services. 39 palmers joined an Advanced First Aid course. MHC provided free prescriptions to 1892 patients. 80 person had their shelters repaired in Jaba area via sanitation services. Psychosocial support session was carried out for 45 younger in Jweza shelter. Building Capacities: Syrian Arab Red Crescent’s Quneitra branch excuted a training course in advanced first aid on 20 – 27/8/2015. Health: First Aid Services: Syrian Arab Red Crescent’s Quneitra ambulance was hit twice and one person injured on Al Salam Highway during September.
