Supported by International Committee of Red Cross, the water and sanitation team at SARC – Swaida branch provided the second well of Anz with a new submersible pump. The pump was installed in cooperation with Swaida Water Establishment on 26 October. The well backs to service and can secure water to the residents of Anz and Al Ghariyah villages in the western countryside of the governorate with beneficiaries total 11355 people. The pump operates at a high pressure of 650 meters and with a capacity of 30 cubic meters per hour.
last October, SARC water and sanitation team completed the installation of a (95 m3) Oxfam tank to secure clean water in Al Kiswa area, where 2750 person will get access to pure drinking water. This project was accomplished in cooperation with ICRC and the Water Supply Authority .
Handicapped kids have special ambitions that make them different from other kids and motivate SARC community center team in Jaramana to help them cope with the community through entertainment activities. The team organized an activity on 31 October 2017, for younger and physically handicapped kids, that contained collective games and handicrafts. The participants were presented with nice gifts at the end of the activity.
