SARC Lattakia branch responds for Displaced idleb’s families


  SARC’s Lattakia branch   responded to needy families who were forced out their homes in  Ishtabraq and Jiser Al-Shoughour areas to Lattakia city. The volunteers Distributed   321 Mattress, 535 blanket, 321 Mat, 107 jerry cans, 107 Kitchen tools, 107 Canvas and 107 cleaning tools that supported by the High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR.  Thy also distributed 135-food box  that supported by the World food program WFP, whereas  The International Committee of the Red Cross ICRC supported 135 canned foods. Distributing Humanitarian Aids in Qunietra


The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Qunietra branch  support affected people with relief items in the governorate via its Relief teams . The items contained: ( food parcels, scrubs, blankets, health parcels, children clothes, Diapers for children, woman, old people), The items are supported by the International Committee of Red Cross,  World Food Program, United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees. The distribution processed for residents and people in shelters in (Khan Arnabeh, Al Koom, Al Baath City, Jiba, and Hader areas with beneficiaries of 39000 in March 2015. Delivering Aid and Holding Several Meetings in Eastern Aleppo

A joint team of Syrian Arab ‪‎Red Crescent – Aleppo branch and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees delivered shipments of‪ ‎humanitarian aid to eastern neighborhoods of ‪‎Aleppo city. This was carried out by collaboration of ‪‎UNHCR delegation in Syria,  SARC’s Aleppo branch director and some board members along with the efforts of 42 volunteers passing through Bustan AlQasr – AlMasharqa Humanitarian‪ Crossing Point and by using primitive means of transportation. Delivered aid included 15 hospital beds, several chronic medicines and pediatric syrups. These supplies, which are supported by UNHCR, will help meet the needs of 5000 to 6000 patients. SARC teams on alert to alleviate the threatening winter conditions in Syria


By Vivian Tou’meh, Syrian Arab Red Crescent Volunteers from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) have been deployed following heavy snow storms which hit the country in recent weeks. Volunteers have been helping people to move out of unfinished buildings and providing heat, blankets and warm clothes.
