Disaster management course in Quneitra

Syrian Arab Red Crescent Quneitra branch finished a training course in Disaster Management principles on Thursday 22/12/2016. The four day course was attended by  27 volunteers, and involved sessions  about disaster management and preparedness, relief, assessment, registration, sheltering, food security, livelihoods and restoring family links.


Advanced first Aid course in Quneitra


Based on the humanitarian principles and the necessity to help affected people , the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Quneitra branch launched an Advanced first aid course lasted for eight  days on 13-20/11/2016   volunteers attended the course which contain didactic lectures and practical training about varied topics such: fractures bleeding, wounds, turns, respiratory and cases transport. Session concluded with theoretical and practical exam.


Rehabilitation Mohammed Alffendi Shelter in AlBoteha


Water and sanitation team of Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Quneitra branch rehabilitated Mohammed Alffendi sheltering center in Alwafeeden camp in Al-Boteha area on Tuesday 25.10.2016. the works took 14 days to be concluded where the team installed internal electrical network for the center, Gypsum Board partitions, maintened of health facilities, repairing sanitation, maintained sewage network for the basement , repaired wooden doors, installed water pump and sludge pump.. This project comes in cooperation  the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and aimed to make 185 people life more comfortable and it supported by


Finishing Distribution period in Alwfdeen camp


Relief team of Syrian Arab Red Crescent –Alboteha sub brunch concluded a distribution process which began last September 2016. The team distributed food and non-food materials for 1670 families for Alwafdeen camp. The materials contained (food parcels, peanut butter, flour, can parcels, kitchen kit, hygiene kit, blankets, diapers, scraps and diapers for old).
