Highlights: 62210 beneficiaries supported with relief services. 39 palmers joined an Advanced First Aid course. Under the motto “For them we Work”, Psychosocial support team of Syrian Arab Red Crescent- Quneitra branch started an interactive activities all over the schools in the governorate . These activities aimed to enjoy the children and to help them overcome surrounding hard circumstances. The team started an event on Thursday 29/10/2015 in Aoud Al Seed School in Khan Arnabeh area where about 700 students (6-12) participated. Highlights: First aid teams transferring 217 cases through the main center and Al Boteha sub-branch. SARC’s ambulance is partly damaged due to shoot-fire around. Distributing stationery items for 350 children on back to school day. Health: First Aid Services: Syrian Arab Red Crescent’s Quneitra ambulance was hit twice and one person injured on Al Salam Highway during September. SARC’s first aid teams transferred 161 cases, 14 to Damascus and the others within the governorate. SAEC- Psycho social support team in Al Boteha sub-branch continues its daily activities in Al Mehanya shelter. The activities varied between (group games and handicraft) for almost 70 children with age range of 5 and 14 years old. PSS team in Al Boteha sub-branch is doing their best to alleviate children’s suffering and train them to get along with their new life style.
Since children are the most vulnerable segment in all societies, SARC’s psycho- social support team spare no efforts to support them by its mobile teams’ volunteers. However, raising the personal hygiene awareness is highly important to be focused on by the team. Therefore, the volunteers held activities in cooperation with UNICEF regarding this issue and targeted 140 children in Al-Moujammaa Al-Taalimi and Saidah Zeinab Mosque centers.
