Belarus sent a donation of 40 metric tons of food aid to Rural Damascus area. The relief aid included wheat flour, baby milk, and canned foods items. The mentioned relief aid were received by representative of SARC’s Rural Damascus Branch Management, Disaster Management Unit, and Logistic Department. The procfess were done in coordination with Rural Damascus Governorate on Wednesday April 8th, 2015.
On the occasion of Teacher’s Day , children’s team in SARC –Aleppo Counseling Center for Psycho-social support held an activity under the title “For My Teacher”. The occasion, which was to express appreciation to the teachers’ great exerted efforts, included a play show illustrating how great the role of teachers’ is and why they should be respected. The play also shed the light on teachers’ tremendous efforts in spreading knowledge. The activity, which targeted 62 children, included writing greeting cards to teachers. Date: 18 – 03 – 2015
SARC – Aleppo teams passed Bustan Al-Qasr – Al-Masharqa Hu manitarian Crossing Points and delivered dialysis sessions’ materials that would be enough for 300 sessions. This response, which is supported by the International Committee of Red Cross, was dedicated for Jub Al-Qubba Center in eastern Aleppo parts. Teams also delivered routine vaccines and measles vaccines to vaccination centers in Al-Ma’adi, Bustan Al-Qasr, Al-Sukkari and Seif Al-Dawla. They also delivered hygiene bags and blankets to residents of Mar Elias Elderly Care Home in Al-Jdaida.
Highlights: Hygiene promotion campaign started in Al Quneitra area covering 12 shelters and more than 20 schools. Water and Sanitation team supplied water provisions to more than 32000 person. Health -First Aid Services: SARC’s First aid teams in Quneitra branch responded to 37 cases within the governorate and transferred 5 cases to Damascus hospitals. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Qunietra branch support affected people with relief items in the governorate via its Relief teams . The items contained: ( food parcels, scrubs, blankets, health parcels, children clothes, Diapers for children, woman, old people), The items are supported by the International Committee of Red Cross, World Food Program, United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees.
