SARC- Homs relief teams provide relief and food aids regularly to 55 areas in Homs and its countryside. There are more than 450000 beneficiaries monthly benefited from those aids. Poliomyelitis vaccine campaign in SARC Homs

Based on its keenness  to protect  ‪‎children from serious diseases, the National Vaccination Campaign program against polio for March was carried out perfectly at ‎SARC Homs‬ dispensary in Alghouta area. The total number of the benefited  children is 2150 with 410 out of them under one year age.

British Red Cross to Homs with priority of Improving livelihood

In the framework of livelihood improvement project, British Red Cross delegation paid a visit to SARC’s- Homs Branch on March 25th 2015. The delegation was composed of Mr. Azeem Nourani, Food Security & Livelihoods delegate and Dr. Hosam Faysal, the Syrian Crisis Program Manager. The visit was aimed to improve the beneficiaries’ livelihood projects, which have a major role in upgrading benefitted families to be actively working ones with real income. certifications are awarded to Human Resources staff

 The  board management at SARC Homs branch  held a meeting  on March 19th  2015 that attended by the human resources staff members. The meeting was aimed to distributing certificates to the mentioned staff who had attended “The Human Resources” workshop held in February. Dr. Motaz Al Atassi, the Head of the board management, and Ms. Dena Al Droubi, the head of the human resources, distributed the certificates.

A Course on First Aid’s Principles is Launched

The First aid committee in SARC’s Homs Branch launched a Training course on the principles of the first aid  . The course, which was held on 16 – 19 March 2015, brought  26 volunteers together as participants. It was aimed to focus on topics of the first aid tools and basics, how to deal with cases of-  bleeding, suffocation, breaks and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation…. etc. The course was concluded with an evaluation test  on Saturday 21st March.
