IM Management Department held its annual meeting
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Information Management (IM) Department held its annual meeting in Damascus on Wednesday 19/12/2018. The three-day meeting was attended by the IM coordinators from SARC sub-branches, branches, and Headquarters. During the meeting, the IM team members exchanged and discussed their 2019 vision, objectives and plan, as well as the key performance indicators (KPIs), information management tools, and the minimum acceptable standards of skills required for the IM employees. Relief aid are distributed in Al-Areeshah Camp in Hasakeh

Based on the needs of the people in Al-Areeshah Camp, SARC volunteers in Hasakeh have distributed relief aid (2500 food parcels, 3000 baby diapers kits, 256 adult diapers kits) provided by ICRC. The distribution process, started on 19/12/2018, took three days.

Agriculture grants are distributed to the farmers in Ghouta As farmers are getting their lands ready for winter planting season, SARC’s livelihood team in Rural Damascus distributed 300 agricultural kits in different areas in Eastern Ghouta (Otaia, Hosh Nasri and Hosh Al-Fara villages) on 12/12/2018. The agricultural kits, provided by ICRC, consisted of agricultural parcel, winter and summer seeds, agricultural tools and drip irrigation network. Waste removal project is launched in Hassakeh city

In cooperation with the city council in Hassakeh, SARC will transfer, on daily basis, 64 M3 of wastes, using 4 trucks provided by SARC branch in Hassakeh, to a waste dump in Abyad area. The 6-month project is supported by ICRC.
