On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, SARC-Homs Community Center’s volunteers organized activities for 180 women who benefit from the project. The activities aimed at empowering women in the society and focusing on their strengths, in addition to providing psychological support sessions and recreational activities. It is worth mentioning that the Community Center’s activities targeting people living in Bab Amr neighborhood and the other neighboring districts supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies IFRC.
In the context of his visit to Czech Republic, Eng. Khaled Hboubati, President of Syrian Arab Red Crescent, met with deputy foreign minister of Czech in order to familiarize him with the works carried out by SARC in order to meet the humanitarian needs of the people especially the response to Eastern Ghouta people and Afrin. During the meeting, Mr. Hboubati expressed his deep thanks to the Czech Republic for their permanent support to Syria and Syrian people and wished such productive cooperation to continue.

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) calls all parties to neutralize humanitarian facilities, aid workers and staff in areas that suffer from the crisis where SARC serves civilians and people in dire need for emergency aid and humanitarian response in the Syrian Arab Republic.
