For the small white drawing paper wouldn’t fit her love and dream, the little child, Sindous, outlined her dreams and love in a drawing of a small peaceful house and a heart full with spontaneous words expressing her gratitude to SARC-PSS team, who has launched entertaining activities for children in Hirgilleh makeshift shelter through an established child-friendly tent. “I dream of returning back home in Hamouria town. I wrote (I love you) to Yara, SARC volunteer, because I appreciate her work. SARC volunteers come every day to spread joy and play with us” said Sindous.
Ten year old Aya was used to bearing responsibilities at an early age, taking care of her 9 siblings after her mother fell ill. She held the responsibility of waking them, playing with them, and taking care of them all day, as well as bringing their hot meals that SARC distributes on time for the families staying at the Dwair shelter.
