Damascus, Mar 15th 2018 As of today, the outflux of civilians from East Ghouta has been increasing on an hourly basis, and people are in dire need for more emergency humanitarian assistance. Women, children and elders are the most affected in this situation. Syrian Arab Red Crescent in cooperation with ICRC and UN delivered another humanitarian aid convoy to Douma city in Eastern Ghouta on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The convoy consisted of 25 trucks loaded with 340 tons of food items (food parcels and flour). This convoy is the second one to enter the mentioned area within 10 days, while the first one was delivered in two stages. SARC teams will continue their response to the humanitarian needs in Eastern Ghouta.
