After reunion, Rida in SARC

  Rida, the returnee child, visits the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and gets health care. It is true that Rida backs home to live with his father and brothers through the reunion mission carried out by Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), but there is more to know. Qualifying 40 Volunteers of SARC-Homs Branch in First Aid

“saving human life” is a  common goal of 40 passionate volunteers of SARC Homs branch. The volunteers followed an advanced first aid course of 72 training hours which included theoretical and practical parts of first aid techniques. It also included maneuvers that simulate the emergency situations faced by the first aid squads during their field missions. The course aimed to qualify the volunteers to reach the best response level during their shifts. The volunteers had theoretical and practical tests at the end of this course which was held between 16 and 27 September in  for SARC- Baniyas Camp.

Rehabilitation of first aid center in AlSafira area

SARC – Aleppo always works on rehabilitating and qualifying its sub-branches in southern Aleppo in order to give the proper medical services to all affected people. SARC – Aleppo has lately opened a first aid center in Al-Safira area and trained 37 volunteers on advanced first aid. Moreover, Aleppo branch also trained 74 persons from the local community in Tal Aran and Al-Safira on principles of first aid.
