The medical center in SARC’s Al Dumayr Sub Branch provides its services to all people there and exerts best efforts to help the most vulnerable people around the clock. The center received (2800) cases during the first half of April 2017, and transferred (128) cases to Damascus and Rural Damascus hospitals.
SARC’s Disaster Management Team- Damascus Branch participated in the vaccination campaign that was launched on 25-27/04/2017 in Al-Qadam area and targeted 274 children from the mentioned area as well as a number of children coming from other regions. The campaign which was carried out in cooperation with Damascus Health Directorate is aimed to support the children age group (day one to 5 years old) with polio and other supportive vacancies in addition to the oral vitamins. TheDisaster Management committee of SARC Homs- branch and in cooperation with the UN offices delivered a 38 trucks of humanitarian aids to SARC Homs Sub-Brunch in Al-Rasstan area on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Further, these relief aids were provided by WFP, UNICEF, IOM, WHO and UNFPA and 21500 families will benefit from them for a month.
The mobile medical team in Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Tartous branch continues his field visits which covers 90% of the city These visits aimed to reduce the aggravation of malnutrition cases and provide the necessary assistance of nutrients like vitamins and peanut butter. In February 2017, the number of beneficiary reached to 917 families.
During January and February in 2017, SARC Assessment Team in Swaida Branch conducted 15 field visits in a constant assessment process for the living conditions of the affected and displaced families in Swaida Governorate. The visits covered 614 families in there.
