2191 persons benefited from the humanitarian relief items distributed by SARC in the Sayeda Zeinab area and targeted Foaa and Kafriya people residing there. The distributed materials included (Mattresses _ Blankets _ Mats _ Jerrycans _ Plastic Sheets _ chargeable Light _ Canned Goods _ Kitchen Sets _ Hygiene Kits and Baby Diaper). This distribution process began on 22 April 2017 and will continue to match the needs of all people there.

Livelihood Team in SARC Lattakia Branch distributed the second batch of fodder in a completion of the sheep grant project which was distributed in the villages of Al-Hafah countryside (Al-Zanqofeh-Dafil-Maysaloun-Qadisiya-Obin-Bet Alshakouhy- Rabieh- Babna-Barouda- Abo Mecca- Blota –Nozha). 200 kg of fodder was delivered to each beneficiary family and the total reached 30 ton of distributed fodder. This project is implemented by SARC in collaboration with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
On 12 April, SARC psychosocial support team in Sednaya sub branch organized an activity in Moneeb Daher school, and distributed clothes kits for 330 students donated by UNICEF. On the same day, SARC psychosocial support team in Al Dumayer sub branch visited Ali Hendya school and organized puppet theater and music activities for 80 kids.
Through Similka border checkpoint, Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) facilitated a process of transport and delivery of a wheat grinder machine to Al-Hassakeh flour mill. This machine is considered the essential part of the flour production line. It will increase the flour production to satisfy the needs of 60,000 beneficiaries in the city and rural around. These services are carried out by SARC’S Water and Housing teams in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
