SARC-Homs livelihood team distributing sheep toAffected families in Al-Hossin


SARC Homs livelihood team have and in cooperation with International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies .concluded three day mission of distributing sheep (400 pregnant sheep and fodder) to 200 returning families, who met the criteria, in Al Hossin area. The mission aimed to improve people’s living capacity in the local countryside, revive the life in the affected areas and improve the families’ livelihood in order to be productive people. SARC Distributes 15000 Bread Bag Daily in Deir Ezzour


The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) constantly distribute bread bags to the people in Deir Ezzour. On 3/11/2016, SARC started distributing 7000 bread bags but the number was increased to 15000 bags once registration process is concluded on 14/11/2016.


New TOT in First Aid Field


New TOT in First Aid Field SARC- First Aid Central Committee concluded a TOT course in first aid field. The course, which was launched on 5-12 Dec 2016 in SARC building capacities compound, brought 37 trainees together with supervision of 15 trainers. It is aimed to rehabilitate new trainers in the first aid field in all SARC branches.


Food baskets Distribution in Al Husseiniya – Rural Damascus


Distribution team in relief department  at SARC – Damascus branch, has distributed food baskets  for 745 affected families in Al Husseiniya area during November 2016. These baskets are provided by International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). It is worth to mention that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent teams are distributing humanitarian aid periodically in many areas in order to alleviate the suffering of those affected according to the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent.
