“Creativity and Renewal” activity, which was concluded on Thursday 12th of May, is one of several charitable exhibitions that held in Yasin Faragani sheltering center. This charitable exhibition consisted of homemade products, made by the women who live there, such as sewing, knitting and seasonal preserved food. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Motaz Altassi, Head of board of directors opened it on Wednesday 11th of May.
Kafar Janna point of SARC – Aleppo continues responding to waves of displacement from northern rural Aleppo to Rubar (Baselhaya). One side of the response involved distributing food items supported by WFP, nonfood items supported by UNHCR to160 families. Emergency aids included food parcels, hygiene kits, insulators and jerry-cans.
Shelter team of Aleppo branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in collaboration with UNHCR has finished installing 145 shelter kits to benefit 113 families ( 758 individuals) in Al-Hamdaniya – Villas. This falls under the Winter project, which aims to provide a living room for every family to be protected from external factors taking the number of shelter kits, the area and the number of individuals into consideration. SARC – Aleppo sheltering team responds to application submitted by the affected people to provide security, privacy and protection for reach family working in accordance to standards.
Sahanaya consultative center in Syrian Arab Red Crescent Rural Damascus Branch presenting many services to all segments in society, including education, entertainment and training, for this group to be able to depend on themselves and support them within the current tough conditions. The center finished literacy course for 9 beneficiaries on Wednesday 11/05/2016, where the volunteers celebrated with them and provided some tips to complete their education, and they held an intensively lesson for junior certificate students after they completed their designated course, and also the center started a Knva course targeted 16 women resident in the region.
