Follow up and evaluation process are crucial aspects of the work conducted by SARC – Aleppo field follow up team. The team has recently supervised relief aids distribution process in Al-Shaikh Abo Bakr area. About 2300 families benefit from the relief committee there.
SARC – Aleppo continues escorting humanitarian cases through the Humanitarian Corridor (Bustan Al-Qasr – Al-Masharqa) as well as escorting them back after receiving the needed medical treatment. Yesterday. 21 humanitarian cases were provided safer access to get the needed medical treatment that were assessed by SARC health care team.
SARC-Homs psychosocial support team, the Child Friendly Spaces project, held its annual meeting in SARC-Homs main center in Al-Ghouta. Headed with Dr. Moutaz Al-Attassi, Head of Board of Directors, SARC-Homs board of directors members discussed with the volunteers the faced obstacles and the achievements during the last year. It is worth mentioning that during 2015 the number of beneficiaries of the Child Friendly Spaces project increased to be more than 80 thousand beneficiaries in 115 areas of Homs and its countryside. 142 volunteers worked in mobile and fixed teams to deliver services.
Supported by ICRC, SARC-Homs communication team checked and repaired the telecom radio of SARC-Homs main center, points and sub branches.
After delivering chronic medicines to Al-Waer in October 2015, SARC-Homs health care team continued his missions on Saturday/ 14th of November, and distributed baby milk in Al-Waer area. The baby milk is supported by IFRC and charitable societies there in order to meet needs of 1000 children. In addition, the team delivered cancer medicines and vaccines to the medical points of the Health Directorate in Al-Waer.
