Though of the challenging crisis SARC’s volunteers continues their work with heroes hearts to help vulnerable people. On the anniversary of the May 8th which marked the response to the returning people to their homes in the old city and the World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, as well as the 50th anniversary of the seven fundamental principles (Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary service, Unity, and Universality), SARC’s volunteers continue their work with the ICRC and IFRC within the deteriorating situation in Syria. They challenge all difficulties to deliver humanitarian aid in an impartial and neutral attitude to millions of needy people.
Under the title “Mobile Water Treatment Units’ Installment & Use”, SARC’s water team concluded the new workshop which was launched on May 5th 2015. The three day workshop was organized in cooperation with the UNICEF and brought 20 volunteers together along with five engineers from the Public Institution of the Drinking Water. The workshop was dedicated to provide the participants with the basic information on how to install and use the Mobile Water Treatment units.
