Relief Aid Convoy Made its Way to Yalda, Babbila and Beit Sahem


Due to the increasing displacement movement which has been recently witnessed in Al-Yarmouk Camp’sneighboring areas of Yalda, Babbila, and Beit Sahem, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent –Damascus Branch managed to deliver a relief aid convoy. The relief aid convoy was delivered to the mentioned areas on two shipments. The first shipment was delivered on April 03rd 2015, while the second was delivered on April 8th 2015 and was loaded with 9500 food parcels, that donated by the ICRC, 3000 conserved  food parcels donated by the WFP and SARC. Operational Update – Hama Branch January 2015


SARC’s-Hama branch launched various  activities  throughout January 2015. However, the most prominent services were the distribution of 56693 food parcels to displaced and affected families, and the installation of two 45000-litere Oxfam tanks in Maardes. Relief The Registration team registered full data for 340 affected and displaced people, while the assessment team continued evaluating the needs of the sheltering centers and houses of the affected and displaced families. They evaluation covered 300 families. The distribution team delivered 49713 food parcels with beneficiaries of 243692 people, 6980 parcels of food-conserved cans that benefited 39907 and 1553 flour bag that benefited 6285 people.
