Field intervention team in SARC –Aleppo branch continues providing safe front-line crossing through Bustan AlQasr – AlMasharqa Humanitarian corridor. The team has recently escorted 51 humanitarian cases, 30 of which were crossed back after taking the needed medical care, while the other 21 were crossed to receive the proper medical management. The team also crossed back one corpse of a humanitarian case, which had been crossed to receive treatment but unfortunately passed away before that, and had reached it to his family.
Hygiene Promotion team in SARC –Aleppo keeps holding purposeful awareness activities on various problems and illnesses resulted of uncleanness. The team recently targeted internally relocated children at Aisha Mosque through an activity that enlightened them about cleanness, hand washing, dental health, taking out trash and means of diseases transmission. Volunteers also distributed detergents to each child.
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent –Aleppo branch’s sheltering team rehabilitated unfinished buildings in AlHamdaniya area. The carried out works were done using shelter kits and installing family rooms, windows, water circles, doors and fences. The number of beneficiaries reached 50 families including 250 individuals. This project was conducted after assessing the buildings and putting geometric schemes to each building.

These services were delivered by the main branch and its sub-branches in Hadar and Al-Bteha areas. Highlights: 18000 family- 100800 person- Benefited from Syrian Arab Red Crescent relief materials in Quneitra. There are more than 25 shelters distributed in Al Quneitra. SARC’s Aleppo branch – water and sanitation team in cooperation with the International Committee of Red Cross finished installing tanks and taps to a well at AlHijriya area in Kafar Naha – Aleppo’s western countryside. This work will help provide safe water to the affected people who reside in the mentioned area. The team also rehabilitated water utilities at Ebbin School in Ebbin Sama’an village. This included installing sinks, tabs, douches and tanks, which will help provide water facilities to displaced persons residing in the school. Date: March 26th, 2015
