The Syrian Arab Red Crescent –Aleppo branch’s sheltering team rehabilitated unfinished buildings in AlHamdaniya area. The carried out works were done using shelter kits and installing family rooms, windows, water circles, doors and fences. The number of beneficiaries reached 50 families including 250 individuals. This project was conducted after assessing the buildings and putting geometric schemes to each building.

These services were delivered by the main branch and its sub-branches in Hadar and Al-Bteha areas. SARC’s Aleppo branch – water and sanitation team in cooperation with the International Committee of Red Cross finished installing tanks and taps to a well at AlHijriya area in Kafar Naha – Aleppo’s western countryside. This work will help provide safe water to the affected people who reside in the mentioned area. The team also rehabilitated water utilities at Ebbin School in Ebbin Sama’an village. This included installing sinks, tabs, douches and tanks, which will help provide water facilities to displaced persons residing in the school. Date: March 26th, 2015
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo branch’s field intervention team coordinated with all parties on ground and crossed front-lines in order to carry out maintenance to electrical malfunctions in Bab AlHadid (an area of conflict ). Maintenance works was completed and put power back to the mentioned area.
“Robust Return to School” was the title of the activity that held by volunteers of Syrian Arab Red Crescent –Aleppo branch’s Counseling Center for Psycho-social Support. The activity was held for children at Cilicia Kindergarten and aimed to encourage kids to study and motivate them to succeed and pass classes. This message was delivered to children through a puppet show talking about differences between laziness and success and also by performing interactive dances with targeted children.
