Volunteers of Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo branch Counseling Center for Psycho-social Support (Child Friendly Space) continue holding activities to the most vulnerable. “You Are Important” was one of those activities that targeted 22 CFS-friend children. This activity motivated children’s sense of gratefulness and prevented them from being ungrateful to people who had helped them.
Field Intervention and Health care teams of Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo branch successfully coordinated with all parties on ground and delivered insulin vials to SARC’s sub-branches and insulin-distribution centers in Hretan, Daret Izza, Atareb, Ifrin, Tal Rifaat, Izzaz, AlSfira, Kafar Hamra and Aurem AlKubra. Insulin was delivered through Bustan AlQasr – AlMasharqa Humanitarian Crossing Point and will be distributed for free to about 4000 beneficiaries.
“Whom I Love” psycho-social support sessions for children suffering from cancer and renal failure Psycho-social Support Volunteers of mobile teams supported by (SARC – UNICEF) Psycho-social Support joint project in cooperation ith Aleppo University Hospital to hold PSS activities for children suffering from cancer or renal in its pediatric department. The activity, which was under the title “Whom I Love”, characterized with distributing colored heat-shaped pieces of papers to 33 children participating in the activity. Children were asked write letters to people they love in order for them to integrate and connect with the surrounding. Sheltering team of Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo branch continues rehabilitating affected and unfinished buildings. The team finished external insulation to five buildings in Tishreen Housing Association. Moreover, they installed stairs and handrails to ensure safety of buildings. This work was supported by International Committee of Red Cross and will improve sheltering conditions to126 families including 600 individuals.
In the last few months, water supply was a big challenge to residents and in particular to displaced people in Quneitra, nevertheless SARC’s water team was able to secure clean water back again. The team reached areas that have no water resource such as Thbiah and Al Sndieanah in Al Koom, in a step to count the areas which need water badly and provided it in cooperation with water establishment.
